Lillian Austin

Vice Chair

Lillian Austin has been an Atlanta native for almost 50 years. She is a product of the Atlanta Public School System as well as an alumni of Emory University (Emory College), Georgia State University (College of Education), and Lincoln Memorial University (College of Education). An educator by profession, she has taught at the K-12 level in the capacity of instructor and tutor both in brick and mortar as well as online environments. At present, she is a Media and Educational Technology Instructor (METI) in the Fulton County School District. Lillian has been a member of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. for almost 30 years with which she has completed various social and civic projects. She has been a Market 166 owner for three years and served on the Board of Directors for almost 2 years. 
Why I Joined Market 166
My decision to join Market 166 was based on my role as an educator in the East Point community. I wanted to help bring healthy food options and learning experiences to my students and their families.
Favorite Product At Mini-Market
Lillian loves many products at the Mini Market but she is absolutely in love with the pretzels!!!
